Thank you Penny Messner, APRN, CNS, DNP for serving as the 2020 President on the MN NACNS Board of Directors and welcome her to her new role on the MN NACNS Board of Directors as the Immediate Past President. Penny, a cardiovascular CNS at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, has focused on improving pain management for the cardiovascular surgery patient, reducing hospital length of stay, anticoagulation management, improving venous thromboembolism prevention, and anticoagulation management to name a few. Over the years she has served as a preceptor and mentor to several of her CNS colleagues. Penny has provided great leadership to help the MN NACNS overcome many challenges the MN NACNS faced during the COVID-19 Pandemic to continue to move the MN NACNS forward.
